Red Stag Materials R5 Pen Bitumen

RSM R5 Pen Bitumen is a high quality CE marked paving grade bitumen in compliance with BS EN12591:2009 and BS 594987.

Ideal for use in a wide variety of situations including;

• Vertical joint faces
• Manhole and gully gratings
• Utility track reinstatements
• Patch repair jointing
• Kerbs

The product must be heated before use to a temperature not exceeding 200°C. Make sure you use the correct PPE (face visor, gauntlet gloves and overalls) and procedures to keep yourself safe during the heating process.

One 25kg keg of bitumen will cover approximately 1200m on a 10mm vertical face if applied correctly. For a 60mm vertical face, the coverage will reduce to 200m.
