At Red Stag Materials we offer a wide range of products
Despite being vital to the UK economy, Highway Maintenance is an industry that is severely under-represented and under-appreciated. The highly skilled operatives and businesses which operate within this sector deliver excellent service but are hamstrung by the lack of variety and innovation in the products for their work.
Red Stag Materials is set to change this by bringing the highest quality and highest value products to market to satisfy the UK Infrastructure professional.
EZ Street Asphalt, a high-quality polymer modified cold asphalt product was introduced to the UK market in early 2019 and is already establishing itself as a game changing product in the cold asphalt market. First Time Fix is essential to the UK to ensure that delivering sustainable highway repairs within the confines of the current spending limitations, EZ Street ticks all these boxes.
Red Stag Materials Ltd was created by a group of individuals with collectively over 100 years of experience in the Asphalt and Highway Infrastructure industries.
The business more recently expanded into offering a wide range of essential products to the wider Highway and Utility Sectors, including diamond cutting products, bitumen products, line marking and many others.
In 2022, the business expanded into the Republic of Ireland, bringing EZ Street Asphalt back to the market.
Throughout all our activities, we have a clear focus on ensuring our impact on the environment is minimised as much as possible. We actively continue to explore ways to reduce our carbon emissions and operate more sustainably.
The future ambitions for the business is to continue to bring high quality, great value products to market to further support the UK Infrastructure market.
How to Fix a Pothole?
Fixing a pothole is really simple when you use a good quality cold polymer modified cold asphalt. Repairing a pothole can be completed in 3 easy steps…
1. Remove any loose debris in the pothole with a brush.
2. Lay maximum of 50mm (2 inches) of EZ Street Asphalt into the pothole using a shovel or by emptying the bag. Compact the asphalt with a hand tamper or compactor plate thoroughly.
3. Repeat the process until the pothole is filled, laying a maximum of 50mm at a time. Overfill the pothole by around 25mm to allow for secondary compaction.
