Meet Grant Shewan, our Managing Director at Red Stag Materials. Based at our Inverurie office, Grant is regularly on the move, travelling the country to forge and nurture partnerships that drive our business forward. Grant started the business in 2018 and has been leading and growing the team since. In his spare time, Grant can be found cheering on Elgin City FC, his hometown team.

Our business development manager, Danny, is based in Perth. Working between home and our quarry in Capo, Danny spends a lot of time on the road visiting customers, demonstrating our products and building customer relationships. No two days are the same for Danny and he really enjoys meeting new people and helping clients improve or repair their infrastructure. Outside of work Danny is a keen golfer and spends a lot of time up the hills of Scotland with the dogs.

Business Development Manager

Danny is based in Perth and works from home in Internal Business Development. His role is all about building strong, honest business relationships and maintaining a high level of service. Chances are, if you’ve called us, you’ve spoken to Danny! With extensive product knowledge, Danny’s favourite parts of the job are overcoming customer’s challenges by educating and offering alternative materials than they knew were available. Danny is a big horror movie fan and his all time favourite movie is “Jaws”!

Business Development Executive

Bryony is Red Stag’s marketing manager. With a professional background spanning multiple industries, Bryony is a data driven spreadsheet fiend who loves making creative email campaigns, adverts and running the social channels. Primarily based from home, Bryony travels around capturing content and attending trade shows. Outside of work, she can be found walking around Glasgow with her bulldog, Pudding.

Marketing Manager

Gail is our Finance Coordinator, based at the office in Inverurie. Looking after all aspects of accounts and payroll, Gail works closely with our sales and production teams, dealing with customers and suppliers. Her favourite part of the month is where the management accounts are finalised, and the account reconciliations balance! Gail is a keen Aberdeen FC fan and helps at the local Highland League football club, Inverurie Loco Works, on match days.

Financial Administrator

Connor is the finance and admin assistant at Red Stag and is based in Inverurie. Some of his duties involve processing purchase invoices, reconciling supplier statements, looking after employee expenses and general day-to-day support to the team. Away from the office, Connor has a keen interest in Football and plays for Keith FC who compete in the Scottish Highland League. Connor is also a keen golfer at Inverurie Golf Club and holds a handicap of 5.

Administration Assistant

Based at Capo quarry, Jake looks after all aspects of warehouse & logistics from dispatching orders & arranging transport to handling any customer delivery/tracking enquiries. Part of Jake's job is to look after our stock levels & aggregate sales out of the quarry, working closely with the whole team and our suppliers to deliver the best for our customers. Outside of work, Jake is a keen gardener & baker and enjoys growing fruits and vegetables to use in my cooking & baking. He also likes to travel & make the most of time off exploring new places, cultures & cuisines.

Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor

Derek, the dynamic Production Manager at Red Stag, brings extensive expertise to the team. At 64 years young, he maintains his vitality by staying active, regularly hitting the gym, and cycling. A dedicated football referee for four decades, Derek's love for the sport is matched by his passion for DIY projects, gardening, and spending quality time with his grandchildren.
