The fine-grade easy managed material is highly durable, fantastic in all weather conditions and proven to be solid even in high traffic areas. This has also been prevalent in our health and safety/risk management, as without needing tack coat/spray co, it makes executing the job at hand so much quicker. I am the depot Supervisor with Renfrewshire Council for the last 23 years, At the start of covid my regular supplier of delayed set materials was having issues with delivery I contacted Red Stag who had the ability to deliver 15 tonnes of EZ Street immediately which was received 2 days after contacting them. This material performed particularly well and since I have ordered a further 30 tonnes, the material is conveniently packaged in 1 tonne bags making it ideal for loading onto vehicles, the operatives find it easy to use as the material once loaded stays pliable and can be treated like hot material. Once compacted there the material binds and remains within the repair there is no lateral movement no creeping over the joints. Cosmetically the material looks like any other DBM and blends in with the surrounding materials we have had no issue with loss of stone or material failing even in high volume/impact areas making this an excellent product.

At Bolton Council we have tried all the bagged/bucketed pothole solutions over the years and the one product we return to time and time again is the EZ Street Asphalt, we use primarily for ironwork reinstatements – lasts exceptionally well – three years on a slip road onto our busiest road, even hot rolled is falling around manholes on this road quicker than the EZ Street did. We also use it for out of hours emergency potholing it is very good, we have used EZ Street Asphalt for four years and I order a couple of tonnes at a time lasting us around six months.
