This silver and red stone is quarried in the Scottish Highlands and provides an attactive array of red and grey colour to any garden area.
This extremely hard stone which is suitable a multitude of uses including drainage, pathways, drives and decorative garden borders.
This Scottish stone has been screened down to a graded size of 20-14mm in size. This is achieved through a series of processes of screening the stone to only select the highest quality correctly sized gravel. Each bulk bag contains around 850kg.
This product can be laid at any depth however for garden and driveway applications it is best laid between 40mm and 60mm in depth. This will provide sufficient ground cover and will withstand foot traffic or vehicle traffic. It is advisable to lay this product on a good quality weed control fabric, such as Plantex. If using this for vehicle areas with high use, it may be best to consider a stabilisation product such as Grass Grid..
