Husqvarna LF 75 LAT – 500 mm Plate
The Husqvarna LF 75 LAT is a fast-operating, petrol-powered forward plate compactor designed for efficient compaction of asphalt and soil. Powered by a Honda GX160 engine, it is well suited to road repairs, pavement maintenance, driveways, footpaths and car parks. This variant features a wider 500 mm compaction plate, providing greater surface coverage per pass and helping improve productivity on larger or more open working areas.
Designed with asphalt applications in mind, the LF 75 LAT features an integrated water distribution system that helps prevent the plate from sticking to hot asphalt and reduces unwanted marks on the finished surface. Its large, corrosion-resistant water tank with an oversized cap allows fast refilling and longer working periods between refills.
The machine also features a patented low-vibration handle to help reduce operator exposure to hand-arm vibration. Transport wheels and a fully folding handle make it easier to move around the worksite and store between jobs, making the LF 75 LAT a practical choice for contractors carrying out regular paving, repair and maintenance work.
Recommended applications
-
Asphalt compaction: Compacting asphalt during road repairs, resurfacing and pavement maintenance.
-
Driveways and car parks: Preparing and repairing asphalt surfaces in residential, commercial and industrial areas.
-
Footpaths and pathways: Compacting asphalt and suitable granular sub-base materials for pedestrian routes.
-
Road maintenance: Completing localised repairs and reinstatement work on roads and paved areas.
-
Soil compaction: Consolidating suitable granular soils during groundwork and surface preparation.
-
Larger paving areas: Using the wider 500 mm plate to increase coverage and productivity on suitable surfaces.
-
Landscaping and construction: Preparing stable bases for external works and other suitable compaction tasks.
Key benefits
-
Wider 500 mm compaction plate: Covers more surface area per pass than the 420 mm variant, helping improve productivity on wider working areas.
-
Optimised for asphalt: The specially designed base plate and watering system help prevent sticking to hot asphalt and reduce surface marking.
-
Efficient water management: The large, corrosion-resistant water tank and oversized filling cap help reduce downtime for refilling.
-
High compaction performance: A centrifugal force of 15 kN provides effective compaction for repair and maintenance applications.
-
Reduced operator vibration: The patented low-vibration handle reduces vibration levels to below 2 m/s² at the designated handle under specified operating conditions.
-
Fast working speed: A forward speed of up to 27 m/min helps increase productivity across suitable surfaces.
-
Easy transportation: Integrated transport wheels help operators move the machine between work areas.
-
Space-saving storage: The fully folding handle makes transport and storage more convenient.
-
Reliable petrol engine: The Honda GX160 provides dependable power for professional compaction work.
-
Practical maintenance: The accessible design supports routine checks and servicing, helping keep the machine ready for regular use.
