Designed to be carried comfortably on a compatible AR L Carrying System (sold separately), the backpack battery significantly reduces the weight of handheld tools, improving operator comfort and reducing fatigue during extended periods of use.

The AR 2000 L offers multiple connection options, allowing it to power a wide range of STIHL cordless tools. It can be connected directly to compatible machines, used with the AR L Connecting Cable for socket-equipped tools, or paired with the ADA 100 Adapter for tools with an integrated battery compartment.

Featuring STIHL Connected technology, the battery records important operational data such as discharge time and charging cycles, allowing users to monitor battery usage through the STIHL Connected App. An integrated USB charging port also enables convenient charging of smartphones and other USB-powered devices while working.
