BPO Catalyst for use with Safetrack overbanding.
SAFETRACK® Overbanding is a HAPAS Approved* liquid, cold-applied, fast curing overbanding system based on GCP Applied Technologies, previously Stirling Lloyd’s unique ESSELAC® advanced resin technology and extensive experience in the development of high performance reinstatement products.
SAFETRACK® Overbanding is available in both High Modulus (HM) and Flexible (F) grades as defined in the BBA Crack Sealing Guideline document.
HM Grade – Suitable for the majority of applications.
F Grade – Developed for use where more movement is experienced. Please contact GCP for advice.
A major advantage of SAFETRACK® Overbanding is its fast cure and overlaying times across the application temperature range. To facilitate this both SAFETRACK® Overbanding (Bulk) ‘HM’ and ‘F’ grades are available in ‘Standard’ and ‘Low Temperature’ grades.
SAFETRACK® Overbanding has been developed for the overbanding of cracks in asphalt substrates. The system is ideally suited for the following applications:
- Sealing cracks (up to 5mm wide)
- Sealing joints between reinstatement materials and the existing road
- Refreshing existing SAFETRACK® Overbanding to reseal and maintain performance indefinitely
- Providing a skid/slip resistance surface to manhole covers and road plates
