Powered by a reliable 27.2 cc STIHL 2-MIX petrol engine, the KM 56 RC-E produces 0.8 kW (1.1 hp) while delivering reduced fuel consumption and lower exhaust emissions compared to conventional two-stroke engines. Weighing just 4.2 kg (without fuel or attachment), it remains lightweight and easy to handle, making it ideal for prolonged use around the home and garden.

The STIHL ErgoStart system significantly reduces the effort required to start the engine, while the manual fuel pump minimises the number of starter cord pulls after extended periods of storage.
