The Durakerb HB2 6m Radius Kerb is a lightweight recycled polymer kerb designed for forming smooth and accurate curved kerb lines. Based on the standard HB2 half battered profile, the 6 metre radius unit provides a practical alternative to traditional concrete radius kerbs for highway, footway, cycleway and paved-area projects.
Each curved Durakerb unit is manufactured from reprocessed polymers and forms part of the Durakerb range containing 88% recycled polymer content. This makes it a useful option for projects aiming to increase recycled material use while reducing reliance on conventional concrete kerbing.
At approximately 4.7kg per unit, the Durakerb 6m radius kerb is easy to lift, position and adjust during installation. The BBA HAPAS certificate confirms that mechanical lifting equipment is not required to lift and manoeuvre the units, helping simplify installation and reduce the manual handling associated with traditional concrete radius kerbs.
The pre-formed radius allows installers to create a consistent curve without relying on a series of short straight kerbs. Durakerb's locating system also helps adjoining units remain correctly aligned, making it easier to achieve a neat and accurate finished kerb line.
Durakerb 6 metre radius kerbs are available in external and internal radius versions, allowing the correct unit to be selected for the direction of the curve. Both versions are covered within the current Durakerb BBA HAPAS certification when installed in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
